Complaints Procedure

  1. At the Soma Institute, all staff and faculty endeavor to make the student learning experience a positive one. Nonetheless, a student with complaints about any aspect of the School's operation that cannot be resolved through a meeting with either a faculty member or a School official may put the complaint in writing to the President. The President will ensure that a response, also in writing, is forwarded to the student within 10 calendar days of receipt of the complaint.
  2. A student who is not satisfied with the President's response may file a written complaint with one of the School's two regulatory agencies. Formal notices of complaint procedures for ACCET and IBHE are posted at the School and copied kept on file in the President's Office.
