Soma has helped my career by being a well recognized and respected name in the massage world. When an employer sees the Soma Institute on a resume they know that they are looking at a quality applicant.

What have you enjoyed about you career?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the social and physical aspects of the massage industry, two aspects that were sorely lacking at previous office jobs. Massage is very rewarding in that I am able to start and end each workday with a smile.

What challenges did you have to overcome during your career?

Becoming proficient in a new skill requires lots of study and practice and massage is no different. Although I have graduated the program and have given many massages I am sometimes overwhelmed by the volume of additional skills and training that are necessary to further myself.
